Advocacy & Education Policy
The Children’s Fund has partnered with the Juvenile Court System, the County Office of Education (COE), and the Department of Family and Children Services (DFCS) and our local colleges and universities to expand the educational infrastructure vital to the success of foster youth. Current initiatives are focused on creation of the nation's first Middle School problem solving court focused on school success for foster youth, JET, Educational Seminars for Social Workers, and Higher Education Initiatives to prepare, enroll, and graduate foster youth.
