Academic Enrichment

The Children’s Fund supports the development of well rounded and healthy children by offering enrichment education opportunities that help youth identify new interests and career opportunities, improve critical thinking and creative processing skills, and strengthen their self esteem and overall social, physical, and emotional well being.

Today the Children’s Shelter offers an award-winning Art Education program teaching children fine art skills and techniques that nurture their imagination and creativity, and foster new forms of expression, understanding, and learning.

Current classes and workshops include: ceramics, sculpture, video, computer graphics, quilting, dance, and music.
