Silicon Valley Community Foundation offers scholarships to graduating high school seniors, currently enrolled undergraduates, re-entry students and graduate students. Eligibility requirements and deadlines vary across programs. If you have a question about your application, please email scholarships@siliconvalleycf.org.

The SVCF application cycle for SVCF-Managed Scholarships has closed. Thank you for your interest. Award notifications are emailed May-June 2024.

Alice Kleeman and Joseph Buttram Impact Scholarship For students who might have met some challenges and obstacles on their way to higher education, students with high levels of motivation and potential but low levels of financial resources, students who might be the first in their families to go to college, and students who need a helping hand to make their college dreams attainable.

Claudia K. Salewske Memorial Scholarship For students from Gilroy Unified School District planning to study English, writing or education at a four-year college or university.
Crain Scholarship For students showing academic excellence, extracurricular activities and a commitment to the community.
Curry Award for Girls and Young Women For young women who have undergone unusual hardships to remain in school.
Cynthia H. Kuo Scholarship For Chinese students who are studying in the Bay Area and are actively involved in the Christian faith and/or youth group.
Dan and Lisabeth Kaplan Memorial Scholarship For San Francisco Bay Area high school seniors or Bay Area community college students intending to attend or transfer to a California public 4-year institution to pursue studies in Liberal Arts or Education
Deblinger Family Scholarship For single parents who are returning to college to improve their own lives as well as their families’ lives.
Dr. James L. Hutchinson and Evelyn Ribbs Hutchinson Medical School Scholarship For students who are enrolled or planning to enroll in medical school.
Fostering Unimpeded Educational Legacies (FUEL) Scholarship Investing in college education for former foster youth to enhance their lives and benefit future generations.
